Yogic diet and nutrition

Yogic diet and nutrition is based on ayurveda principles (one of the oldest medicinal systems in the world) and the 5 elements: water, earth, fire, space and air. Depending on which of the elements are balanced you as a personality, body and lifestyle you are determined with specific Dosha.

There are 3 types of Doshas:

Kapha – representing water and earth elements
Vita – represents the elements space and air
Pitta – represents the elements fire and water

If unbalance in the elements occurs we experience health issues as a sign of it.

Understanding how to balance the Doshas requires to understand the 3 possible states of mind called Gunas. Gunas represent the way we see the world and can be:

Sattvic – representing harmony and satisfaction
Rajas – movement and creativity
Tamas – sleep and materialism

Most recommended diet in Yoga is Sattvic food. It includes small portions of light fresh bio vegetarian products. Sattvic food maintains the living energy and keeps the mind awake, often called pranic food.

Depending on each person’s lifestyle and personality yogic diet and nutrition plan is individual and can include raja or Tama elements.

To get your unique personal plan make an appointment for an interview with me, this way we explore which Dosha and Guna are you and which is the perfect yogic nutrition planning that will improve your awareness, help you lose weight, feel energetic, and clear your mind.
